Join us on Friday, October 25 for a thrilling and chilling five course dinner and paired cocktails from Chef Jake with decor inspired by Stephen King’s classic The Shining and menu based on The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and America’s first cookbook from 1796. Doors open at 5:30pm with dinner beginning at 6:30pm. The event will take place within our main level. Please park in the front circle drive and enter through the main entrance. MENU
- 1st course:
- Elk carpaccio with parsnip coulis, pickled root vegetables, dandelion greens, fried wild mushrooms and capers, herb oil and sea salt.
- Cocktail: mulled spice wine
- 2nd course:
- Rustic French onion soup served in roasted vidalia Onion with confit potato, veal demi-glace and house made beef jerky garnish
- Cocktail: REDRUM-TINI
- 3rd course:
- Oyster and pheasant potato hash with sunny side up duck egg and green onion curls
- Cocktail: Hot toddy
- 4th course:
- Slow braised bison rib with blackberry mead demi-glace, sautéed greens, white beans and blanched rainbow carrots
- Cocktail: House made mead
- 5th course:
- Sweet rice pudding with brioche bread crust and dark rum and honey reduction
- Cocktail: Port wine
Costumes (gothic ballroom) are encouraged but not required.
